“Buletini i Shkencave Gjeologjike” is the scientific periodical of Albanian Geological Survey.

Was published firstly at the year 1965 entitled “Përmbledhje Studimesh” as periodical of the Institute of Geological Research.

From the year 1972 was a joint publication of IGR and Fakulty of Geology and Mine.

Take the actually name from year 1982, mean  time the AGS taked the rights of publication of this periodical from the year 1997.

As the unique scientific publication in the field of geology, the "Buletini i Shkencave Gjeologjike", succed to present all the Albanian scientific conception during last 31 years of the existence.

Firstly was published 4 times at year, but after year 1990 only two issues every year. In their pages are presented studies of every subdivision of geology as stratigraphy, tectonic, economic geology, paleontology, petrography, mineralogy, geophysics, geo-chemistry, hydrogeology, geo-technique, environmental geology, regional geology, but and of mine field.

Until 1990, the papers was accompanied by a abstract bilingual in both french and russian language, meantime after this year the abstract was only in english language.

The "Buletini i Shkencave Gjeologjike" continues to invite all the specialists of geosciences to publishsh their conceptions in this periodical
